Alex Miceli and Caleb Beers dig into the mechanics behind social media’s use of algorithms to tag your posts for misinformation or missing context.

Much of the social side of the Internet is dependent on algorithms and moderators to police users’ post, making sure we have access to the “right” experts on a slew of topics. These tags can also lead to an eventual suspension or ban from social media, but what is the moral (or immoral) motivation behind these tags?
