Carter and Keri are joined by special guests Seerut Chawla and Josh Slocum (Disaffected Podcast), and they begin by extracting lessons from fairy tales. This leads to a broader discussion about children and their need for parents. Keri then asks the question of the century: “What is wrong with people?” and the conversation takes a dark turn into the world of some repugnant sexual proclivities that can be found on Twitter.
The group turns to a general discussion of cluster B personality traits, and asks what role culture and philosophy play in encouraging widespread dysfunction. This leads to a critique of modern academia and contemplation of a leftist agenda that seeks to normalize pornography in high school libraries. They briefly discuss the Rittenhouse case, with Seerut expressing perplexity over American gun culture, before turning to the rise in short attention spans encouraged by applications such as TikTok and Instagram. Seerut explains the misuse of the word “valid” in a therapeutic setting before the show ends with a heated disagreement over the status of sweet potato desserts and dubiously-named “salads.”
