[Rebel Civics] Taxation Is Theft

April 27, 2022

Keith defines “theft” and explains why income tax and several other forms of taxation are theft, based on the principles of ownership of the output of one’s labor and private property. He provides quotes provided as backup from several people of sound principle, including Voltaire, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Winston Churchill, Judge Andrew Napolitano, and P.J. O’Rourke. Keith reads relevant sections of the U.S. Constitution and its amendments, showing what the Founder’s position on taxation was and how they were opposed to income taxes. And common arguments used against the concept that taxation is theft are reviewed and debunked.
